Summary
Streamworks is seeking a motivated part-time Human Resources Intern to support our HR team during the 2026 summer season. This collaborative, entry-level role offers hands-on exposure to a broad range of HR functions including recruiting, onboarding, employee records management, HRIS data, and employee engagement initiatives. The intern will work on-site at our Blaine, MN office and report directly to the HR Manager.
This internship is designed for current students or recent graduates in human resources, business, organizational behavior, psychology or a related field. Prior experience in structured people-focused environments (education, customer service, volunteer leadership) is valued, but not required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Recruiting Support - working with HR Generalist

Gain experience in resume screening

Participate in and shadow phone interviews

Ensure accurate documentation of interview notes in ADP
-
Complete a back-fill project to capture any missing interview notes or scorecards (Affirmative Action)

Review and complete candidate scorecards as needed
Badge Photo Update Project (Security Request) - working with HRIS Analyst Admin

Coordinate new photo scheduling with Design Center Manager and Senior Designer
-
Identify and update employee badge photos older than 5 years
-
Print new badge photos
-
Update and track updated badge photos
-
Upload updated photos to ADP
Employee Paper Files to Digital Files Filing Project - working with HRIS Analyst Admin

Quality-check scanned employee folders
-
Confirm all files are named following the attorney recommended file naming convention

Confirm all files are categorized and separated properly for compliance i.e. PHI benefits, I-9 separate file, 401K, uploaded to ADP
-
Identify and remove duplicate documents from the Secured Drive
-
Organize remaining documents per HR file standards
Onboarding
-
Shadow new-hire onboarding process
-
Review existing documentation and flag or update sections where steps are unclear
-
Assist with onboarding paperwork and material preparation as appropriate
-
Perform part of an onboarding with assistance by August if enough candidates are hired.
Employee Engagement / Events
-
Assist the Culture Team with planning and execution of the Summer Bash on July 16, 2026

Support other employee engagement initiatives as assigned
Front Desk Coverage
-
Cover front for lunches Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (Unless someone is being onboarded)

Coverage times may vary either 11:30 am - 12:30 pm or 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Education and/or Experience

Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a bachelor's degree program in human resources, business, organizational behavior, psychology, communications, or a related field

Language Skills

Ability to communicate verbally in English

Ability to read and comprehend written and verbal instructions in English
Mathematical Skills

Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, percentages, and the ability to interpret simple data and reports
