Key responsibilities:
1. Strategic HR leadership
- Define and implement a company HR strategy that supports business plans for the hotels and F&B outlets (workforce planning, retention, talent pipelines, etc).
- Advise executive team on organizational design, workforce optimisation, cost-to-serve, and change initiatives.
- Build and report on HR KPIs and dashboards.
2. Talent acquisition & onboarding
- Lead multi-site recruitment strategy by employer branding, campus & agency partnerships, selection standards, and structured interview processes.
- Oversee onboarding, induction and probation programs to ensure fast time-to-productivity and consistent guest-service standards.
3. Performance, succession & talent management
- Implement performance management framework aligned to business outcomes (SMART objectives, calibration, promotions).
- Build leadership development, succession planning and high-potential programs for operational managers across hotels and F&B.
4. Compensation, benefits & payroll compliance
- Design market-competitive pay structures, manage annual salary reviews and incentive schemes.
- Ensure accurate, timely payroll delivery, oversee payroll vendor/partner and resolve payroll escalations.
- Oversee benefits administration, staff discounts, medical insurance, end-of-service calculations and statutory contributions.
5. Employee relations & legal compliance
- Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law, MOHRE requirements, visa & immigration processes.
- Manage disciplinary, grievance and absence management processes, lead fair investigations and maintain confidential records.
- Maintain up-to-date HR policies and employee handbook, ensure consistent policy application across sites.
6. Learning & development
- Define company L&D strategy, mandatory compliance training (safety, food hygiene), hospitality service standards, leadership & technical skills.
- Measure learning effectiveness, driving cross-property knowledge sharing and on-the-job coaching.
7. Culture, engagement & wellbeing
- Drive employee engagement strategy (surveys, focus groups, action plans), recognition programs and wellbeing initiatives.
- Champion diversity, inclusion and a positive, service-driven culture across all sites.
8. Risk management & vendor governance
- Manage external HR vendors (recruitment agencies, payroll providers, training vendors).
- Prepare for audits and inspections, ensure required Labour records, permits and reporting are maintained.
