Minimalist.ae is a local brand founded in 2016 in Dubai that designs and manufactures elegant, high-quality watches, jewelry, handbags, perfumes, and leather goods designed to enhance personal style. With two stores now open in the UAE, we focus on simple yet sophisticated designs, with specifically our Arabic numeral watches being known for their timeless appeal. The role

As HR Manager, you will assume responsibility for our operational and strategic HR requirements. You will be managing the whole HR employee life cycle from ‘hire’ to ‘retire’. Part of the role is building up the HR department from scratch while actively running our recruitment, performance management, and employee engagement.

Requirements

As an ideal candidate, you will have:

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in managerial HR roles within the UAE in eCommerce, Retail, or luxury goods startups or SMEs;
• A relevant academic degree in HR, Business Administration, Management, or similar;
• Relevant HR certification from accredited providers, e.g. SHRM or CIPD;
• Outstanding communication skills in English;
• Preferably fluent communication skills in Arabic;
• Familiarity with UAE labor laws & HR best practices.
