Job Overview
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the employee lifecycle within the assisted living facility/Community Residential services, including recruitment, onboarding, training, employee relations, compliance, and performance management. This role ensures that staffing and workplace practices support the facility’s mission of providing quality care for residents in a safe, supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Oversee talent acquisition processes including recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
- Manage employee relations by addressing conflicts and fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Ensure compliance with employment and labor laws, including FMLA and OSHA regulations.
- Administer employee benefits programs and manage payroll processes effectively.
- Conduct training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
- Implement performance management systems to evaluate employee contributions and support succession planning.
- Utilize HRIS systems such as Workday, Paychex, or ADP for data collection and analysis related to human capital management.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on organization design and strategic planning initiatives.
- Facilitate employee orientation programs to ensure smooth integration into the company culture.
- Lead process improvement initiatives within the HR department to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
- Proven experience in human resources management with a focus on talent management, employee evaluation, and conflict management.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, benefits administration, workers' compensation, and HR sourcing techniques.
- Experience in supervising HR teams and managing program initiatives effectively.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to communicate clearly at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical skills for data analysis related to workforce metrics and trends.
- Ability to present information effectively to stakeholders through strong presentation skills.
