About the Role
A rapidly expanding cross-border company is looking for a hands-on HR Supervisor/Manager to build and manage its U.S. HR operations.
This role will serve as the key HR contact in the U.S., responsible for full-scope HR and administrative functions while partnering closely with the global HR team in China.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and execute localized HR policies and processes aligned with headquarters standards.
- Manage full-cycle HR operations including recruiting, onboarding, payroll, compliance, performance management, and employee relations.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws (especially California) and handle employment-related documentation and audits.
- Support business leaders in workforce planning, employee engagement, and team development.
- Oversee general administrative duties such as internal communication, vendor coordination, purchasing, and office management.
- Act as a bridge between HQ and local operations to ensure smooth collaboration and organizational alignment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3+ years of HR experience in the U.S., preferably with exposure to multinational or cross-border companies.
- Solid understanding of U.S. HR laws and California labor compliance.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English (both written and spoken).
- Must hold U.S. work authorization or Green Card.
- Strong initiative, communication, and problem-solving skills; comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
