HR Manager

Surrey - based on site 4 days per week

c. £65,000 plus benefits

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Manager to join an established and innovative engineering business to support its continued growth.

This is a hands-on and wide-ranging role, working closely with the organisation's leadership team to shape people practices, drive employee engagement, and ensure HR compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for HR matters, supporting managers and employees across the business.
• Lead recruitment and onboarding, including apprenticeships and early careers programmes.
• Manage HR documentation, employee relations, and performance/development processes.
• Oversee employee engagement initiatives.
• Manage benefits administration, and HR systems.
• Ensure compliance with employment law and company policies.
• Partner with leadership on a wide range of HR projects to foster a positive, inclusive culture.

About You

• Proven experience in a standalone HR Manager role, within a similar innovative, tech-driven business.
• Strong employment law knowledge.
• Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing deadlines.
• Confident working independently while building strong relationships across the business.
