Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Manager to lead our HR department and support organizational growth. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of human resources functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, and HRIS management. This role requires a strong understanding of employment law, HR strategies, and leadership skills to foster a positive workplace culture and ensure operational excellence. The Human Resources Manager will collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement HR initiatives aligned with company goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute HR strategies that support organizational objectives and promote a positive work environment.
- Oversee talent acquisition processes including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees
- Manage employee relations by addressing workplace issues, conflict resolution, and fostering effective communication across teams.
- Ensure compliance with employment & labor law, OSHA regulations, Workers' Compensation policies, and other legal requirements.
- Administer employee benefits programs including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks using platforms like ADP, Paychex, or Paylocity.
- Lead performance management initiatives including employee evaluations, succession planning, and training & development programs.
- Supervise HRIS systems
- Handle payroll administration ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Conduct employee orientation sessions to integrate new hires effectively into the company culture.
- Manage HR sourcing efforts to attract top talent through strategic recruiting practices.
- Drive process improvement projects related to HR operations and organizational design initiatives.
- Support management in change management efforts and organizational restructuring activities.
Skills
- Strong negotiation skills for contracts and benefits administration negotiations.
- Experience in talent acquisition strategies including sourcing, interviewing (including behavioral interviewing), and onboarding processes.
- Demonstrated supervising experience with the ability to lead HR teams effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for presentations, employee relations, and strategic planning discussions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills.
- Data analysis skills for workforce planning and decision-making support.
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean is a plus.
- Strategic thinking with experience in succession planning and human capital management practices.
