Your Life Legacy helps families preserve their stories through cinematic documentaries that honor the past, heal the present, and inspire the future. We’re growing fast—and we’re looking for a driven HR leader to help us scale our people infrastructure with heart and excellence.

This is not a traditional HR role. You’ll architect our People department from scratch—recruiting top talent, designing onboarding systems, shaping culture, implementing SOPs, and laying the foundation for a world-class team. You’ll help build the team and culture that powers all of it.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead all internal recruiting efforts (operations, sales, creative, production, executive)
  • Design and implement our HR stack: SOPs, hiring workflows, compliance, performance systems
  • Shape team culture and employee experience from the ground up
  • Track key people metrics for hiring, retention, engagement, and fulfillment

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in startup HR, People Ops, or talent leadership (bonus if in media/creative/startup environments)
  • A strong recruiter who knows how to find, vet, and inspire A-players
  • Deep understanding of contractor/1099 hiring structures (domestic + international)
  • A culture builder who balances empathy, structure, clarity, and boldness

This is a performance-based executive position:

  • No base salary / hourly wage
  • Commission-only, based on hires and team success
  • Long-term equity, profit-sharing, and stock option potential
  • Overrides on the value and revenue created by the people you bring in

Job Types

Expected Hours

20–40 hours per week

Compensation Package

  • 1099 contract

Schedule

  • Flexible 4-hour or 8-hour shifts
  • Day shifts (Mon–Fri)
  • No nights, no weekends

Application Question

Because we are a fast-growing, purpose-driven company with massive upside for early contributors, this Executive position is fully Performance-Based (i.e., no base salary or hourly wage).

All compensation is Commission-Only, and tied to the value of the hires and systems you build into the organization. This may evolve to include Equity, Profit-Sharing, and Stock Options for top performers.
