Our client is one of the fastest growing HVAC sales, installation and service contractors for residential and commercial applications in the Northeast.


About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Human Resources Manager who will be responsible for owning recruiting for operations employees across multiple locations, expanding and delivering training & development using ADP, and providing day-to-day HR generalist support for our growing field and office teams. This role partners closely with Operations, Sales, and Customer Service leaders to build a reliable talent pipeline, and upskill the workforce.


What you'll do:


Talent Acquisition

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for installers, service techs, drivers/warehouse staff, and field supervisors.
  • Build sourcing strategies across referrals, schools, community/job boards, LinkedIn, and local partnerships.
  • Manage screening, interviews, assessments, offers, and pre-employment steps.
  • Track requisitions and pipelines; deliver weekly recruiting metrics.
  • Partner with operations leaders on workforce planning and consistent selection processes.

Training & Development

  • Expand onboarding/training for Sales, Operations, Customer Service, Admin, and Front-line Leaders.
  • Develop a core onboarding experience (values, safety, customer promise).
  • Create role-based learning paths and micro-modules; map key competencies.
  • Use ADP to assign, track, and report training compliance.
  • Coordinate SME content, trainer schedules, and required certifications.

HR Operations

  • Support employee-relations intake, investigations, and documentation.
  • Assist with internal moves and performance cycle processes.
  • Ensure onboarding readiness (I-9/E-Verify, uniforms, tools, checklists).
  • Maintain accurate HR data and reporting in ADP.


What You Bring

  • 5+ years of HR/talent experience, including full-cycle recruiting; skilled-trades or field-service background preferred.
  • Experience designing and delivering training; ADP or similar LMS/HRIS experience a plus.
  • Strong understanding of structured selection and recruiting analytics.
  • Working knowledge of core HR practices (I-9/E-Verify, wage & hour, EEO).
  • Clear, practical communicator who can influence field leaders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR/Business or equivalent experience; HR certifications a plus.
