Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and eager individual to join our team as Human Resources Manager. This entry-level role offers an excellent opportunity to learn and grow within a dynamic HR environment. You will support the team in various HR functions, including employee relations, recruitment, and data management, while contributing to the overall success of our talent strategy. We are looking for someone with a desire to develop their skills under the guidance of experienced Director of People and Culture.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business objectives.
  • Manage the recruitment process, including talent acquisition and onboarding of new employees.
  • Foster positive employee relations by addressing employee concerns and facilitating conflict resolution.
  • Oversee workers' compensation claims and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Utilize HR software systems such as ADP Workforce Now.
  • Conduct research data collection to inform HR policies and practices.
  • Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and improve organizational effectiveness.
  • Ensure adherence to labor laws and regulations while maintaining company policies.
  • Provide departmental support to the Director of People and Culture.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Sr. Management.

Requirements

  • Two to three years of experience as an HR Generalist or similar role in human resources management in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of ATS systems for recruitment processes.
  • Excellent data analysis skills to interpret HR metrics effectively.
  • Familiarity with employee relations best practices and workers' compensation regulations.
  • Proficient in using HR software such as ADP Workforce Now.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to work on-site. This a non-remote work opportunity.
