PURPOSE:
Manage all aspects of the HR function including recruitment and staffing, training, compensation and benefits, employee relations, workers compensation and safety and performance management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide day-to-day supervision and work directions to HR staff.

Provide coaching and guidance to individuals on organizational procedures and expected behaviors.

Review compensation rates to ensure market competitiveness.
- Conduct employee relations investigations and follow up with corrective actions.

Manage safety corrective actions and worker’s compensation claims.

Communicate policies and procedures to all associates.

Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.
- Review job openings, conduct interviews, and extend offers of employment.

Communicate with temporary agency regarding proper staffing levels, performance management, and pay issues.

Process new hires and payroll as necessary.

Work with the management team to share information, resolve problems, and conduct coaching as necessary.

Approve and sign off on various invoices (temporary agency, uniforms, benefits, etc.).

Manage FMLA and Leave of Absence processes.
- Manage HR budget to plan.

Maintain Employee Handbook, personnel files, and all legally mandated files updated.

Execute social compliance customer audits.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:

5 years of experience as an HR Manager with oversite of all functional areas of HR including Staffing, Compensation and Benefits, Safety, Employee Relations and Training.

Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business management required.

Proficient knowledge required in the use of Microsoft suite programs.

Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Represent Compact Industries in a professional manner.

Ability to handle very sensitive and confidential information.

Possess a high degree of credibility within the organization coupled with a customer service attitude for assisting all employees with their needs.
