Position: Human Resources Manager

100% Remote Position - Superior Contact, a premier customer service contact center, seeks a Human Resources Manager. We are passionate about our employees and seek a manager who will be responsible for analyzing and prioritizing human resources activities in accordance with the goals of the company.

Position Summary:

Proactive, innovative, and team-oriented; this position will be responsible for providing a balanced environment of learning, cultural development, and staffing assessments for recruiting the brightest in the industry. Support the overall HR vision, mission, and values.

Human resources activities will include: benefits administration, FMLA administration and compliance, absence management and tracking, PTO, HR consulting and education - providing guidance for compliance with state and federal laws, customizing and updating handbooks, overseeing new hire orientation, organizational development activities, conducting stay and exit interviews, answering employees questions and concerns.

Essential Human Resources Responsibilities

  • HR Consulting and educating – Provide Guidance for compliance with Federal and State Laws, HR matters including, but not limited to hiring, terminations, discipline, FMLA, DOL, ERISA, ADA, EEOC).
  • Understand and support benefits administration.
  • Recruiting and Selection: vetting, interviewing, candidate communications.
  • FMLA administration and compliance.
  • Employee relations.
  • Continued development of compensation metrics.
  • New hire orientation and onboarding.
  • Support a Contact Center, both hourly and salaried employees, addressing any concerns and questions (PTO, payroll, FMLA, training, technical, etc) in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for maintaining the digital filing system to include personnel files based on applicable federal and/or state retention guidelines.
  • Accurate record keeping.
  • Policy development.
  • Foster a positive work environment for all employees.
  • Partnering with leadership to achieve key strategic plans.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Training, Organizational Development, and Instructional Design, a similar or related field.
  • 4+ years of management and supervisory experience.
  • Ability to facilitate cooperative relationships to secure necessary resources.
  • Previous experience training within the Telecom industry and Contact Center operations.
  • SHRM-CP or higher, PHR or higher
  • Human Resources Experience: 3 year (Preferred)
  • Leadership Experience: 3 year (Preferred)
  • Benefits administration: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Environment:

While this job is remote, a secluded, quiet work setting is required for success. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and headphones.

Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day. This position might require hours of work outside of the standard schedule based on the needs of the company. Travel may be required occassionally.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
