The Employee Manager plays a key role in shaping the employee experience at Straticon. This position focuses on supporting employee development, strengthening company culture, and helping ensure that team members have the resources and support they need to succeed.
Responsibilities:
HR Operations & Compliance
• Maintain all employee records and HR systems with audit-ready accuracy
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
• Own and enforce company policies, handbook standards, and internal procedures
• Oversee I-9 and E-Verify compliance and documentation integrity
• Manage and standardize all HR documentation, forms, and record keeping practices
• Support audits, reporting requirements, and regulatory inquiries
Performance Management & Accountability
• Own the company-wide performance review process and enforce completion standards
• Drive consistency in goal setting, evaluations, and documentation across all departments
• Hold managers accountable to performance management timelines and standards
• Identify breakdowns in accountability and escalate to leadership
• Maintain performance tracking systems and reporting
Policy, Process & Infrastructure
• Build, implement, and maintain HR SOPs and internal workflows
• Standardize processes across departments to eliminate inconsistency
• Continuously improve HR systems for efficiency, scalability, and control
• Ensure all HR-related processes are documented, repeatable, and enforceable
Organizational Execution & Alignment
• Work with leadership to ensure consistent application of company policies and standards
• Identify operational gaps in workforce execution and implement process-level solutions
• Track and report on key HR metrics (turnover, retention, performance completion rates, etc.)
• Ensure alignment between company objectives and workforce execution systems
Qualifications
• 10+ years of HR experience, preferably in construction or similar operational environment
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR compliance requirements
• Experience building and enforcing HR processes at scale
• High level of organization and documentation discipline
• Ability to operate independently and enforce standards across leadership teams
