Lead and support daily human resources operations, including employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, performance management, compliance, and HR administration.

Partner with leadership and managers to support organizational planning, workforce development, employee relations, staffing initiatives, and company culture objectives.

Develop, maintain, and administer HR policies, procedures, handbook content, employee records, and related documentation while supporting compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations.

Administer and coordinate employee benefits programs, leave administration, payroll-related employee changes, HR reporting, and HRIS activities.

Maintain confidential HR records, reporting, and employment documentation with a high level of accuracy and professionalism.

Support recruiting activities for manufacturing, technical, professional, and leadership positions, including candidate sourcing, recruiting outreach, screening, interview coordination, background checks, and offer administration utilizing various recruiting platforms.

Support employee relations and performance management activities by coaching managers on performance concerns, evaluations, corrective actions, communication, and documentation practices.

Serve as the primary internal coordinator for the company’s safety program, partnering with operational leadership and external EH&S consultants to support safety initiatives, OSHA-related activities, workers’ compensation administration, safety training, incident follow-up, and return-to-work coordination.

Coordinate leadership development, training activities, and competency/training matrix administration aligned with AS9100 requirements.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

Progressive human resources experience required, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

Demonstrated experience supporting recruiting, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and HR administration activities.

Practical working knowledge of employment laws, HR practices, and employee relations principles.

Experience working with HRIS and payroll systems preferred.

SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or similar certification preferred but not required.

Hands-on and practical approach to human resources leadership.

Ability to navigate difficult conversations and sensitive employee situations with maturity and sound judgment.

Ability to move throughout office, manufacturing, and laboratory environments.

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during meetings, training sessions, and facility activities.

Occasional lifting of materials up to approximately 25 pounds.

Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when accessing manufacturing and laboratory areas.

Exposure to typical office, manufacturing, laboratory, and industrial aerospace environments.
