We are seeking an experienced manager to oversee the human resources function at our 80 employee Fremont facility.
Our hands on Human Resources Manager will be a strategic partner for leadership and a valuable resource for employees. This position, which reports to the General Manager, is responsible for:
· End-to-end recruitment for production staff, office workers as well as management positions.
· Overseeing employee relations and adhering to the collective bargaining agreement, handling grievances, mediating conflicts, conducting investigations, and recommending disciplinary or other corrective action as necessary.
· Ensuring compliance with employment laws, OSHA (to maintain a safe and lawful workplace), FLSA, as well as FMLA and other leave of absence programs.
· Managing workers’ compensation by ensuring compliance, handling claims and supporting injured employees.
· Overseeing the company’s timekeeping system, tracking attendance points, and processing weekly and biweekly payroll.
This position requires:
· A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or related field.
· 5+ years of HR and talent acquisition experience, including previous management experience.
· Good working knowledge of employment laws.
· Knowledge of timekeeping systems and proficiency in payroll processing (preferably with Kronos and ADP products). Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
· Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization and build relationships based on fairness and trust.
· Attention to detail and the ability to follow through.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
