Human Resources Manager

DEB Construction, certified as a Great Place to Work®, is seeking a Human Resources Manager with 10 years of Human Resources experience. The Human Resources Manager supports the overall people operations of the organization by helping foster a professional, compliant, and employee-focused work environment. This role serves as a key point of support for both employees and leadership while contributing to the company’s organizational goals and culture.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for managing all human resources functions for a construction company, strategic HR initiatives, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, culture, benefits administration, compliance, training, performance management, payroll coordination, workers' compensation, 401(k) support and safety support. Serves as the primary HR resource for all employees, supervisors, and executive management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably within construction or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, workers' compensation, benefits administration, and HR best practices.
  • Experience supporting both field and office employees.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred.
  • Proficiency with HRIS, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to contribute to business strategy and operations.
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills with an emphasis on time-management; must have the ability to plan, organize, and implement various activities with ease

Pay: $100,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
