Human Resources Manager

North Woods Nursing Center is in search of a Full-Time Human Resource Manager to administer and manage all Human Resource functions including, but not limited to, recruitment, retention, benefits administration, leave management, personnel policy, onboarding & payroll preparation.

The Human Resource Manager is a hands-on professional who provides full cycle HR support with the ability to guide people operations in a thoughtful, timely, accurate and professional manner.

Essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to:

• Process bi-weekly timecards & prepare for payroll processing
• Recruit and onboard qualified team members
• Ensure compliance with company policies & government regulations
• Coaches & assist employees and managers on a variety of employment matters, such as performance management, benefits, employee relations, leave of absences and worker's compensation.
• Develops and maintains strong working relationships with managers and staff

Wage Information:

• $22.85 - $25.35/hour based on experience
• Including $0.85/hour additional bonus pay through until 09.30.26

What you need:

• A Degree in Human Resource Management and 1+ years of experience; or 3+ years of experience as a Human Resource Administrator / Generalist.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel
• High level attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to juggle and prioritize multiple activities.
• You must be comfortable jumping right in and handling tasks as needed, asking clarifying questions and learning new skills and processes.
• Professional interpersonal skills
• Ability to work six - seven weekends per year as weekend manager.
