About Us
NY Monda Window and Door, Inc. is a window manufacturing company established in 2000 and headquartered in Corona, Queens, NY. We operate four locations across Queens and Nassau County and employ approximately 40+ team members.
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager/Executive Assistant to oversee our human resources operations and support our growing team. This role will also provide high-level administrative and organizational support to C-level executives and/or senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Manage HR operations for approximately 40+ employees across 4 locations
- Lead recruitment, hiring, and onboarding
- Maintain HR policies and ensure compliance with federal, NY State, and NYC employment laws
- Handle employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution
- Oversee payroll coordination and benefits administration
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation
- Support leadership with workforce planning and HR strategy
- Strengthen employee relations by organizing various team-building, off-site events, and holiday parties
- Provide high-level administrative and organizational support to C-level executives and/or senior leadership
- Serve as a liaison between executives, employees, clients, vendors, and business partners
- Assist with various company insurance and legal matters
- Assist with special projects and perform other administrative duties as assigned
- Additional responsibilities will be assigned as necessary
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of HR management experience
- Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese)
- Strong knowledge of New York labor laws and HR best practices
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in manufacturing or industrial environments
- HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently
- Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills
Compensation
- $70,000 – $85,000 salary (depending on experience)
