1st Americare LLC is a growing healthcare organization providing home care and clinical services across multiple states. As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead and strengthen our HR operations.
The Human Resources Manager will oversee all aspects of human resources operations, including onboarding, employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, and performance management. This role will also supervise HR support staff across multiple locations and ensure consistency in HR practices company-wide.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage hiring processes
- Oversee onboarding, orientation, and employee retention strategies
- Manage and administer employee benefits, including health insurance and 401(k) plans
- Ensure all personnel files are complete, accurate, and compliant with regulatory standards within all operating states.
- Monitor and maintain employee credentials, licenses, and required trainings
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices for all operating states.
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
- Oversee performance evaluation processes and staff development initiatives
- Supervise and support HR Assistants across multiple locations, ensuring consistency and compliance
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and multi-state employment laws
- Support leadership with workforce planning and organizational development
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all HR data
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 3+ years of Human Resources experience (management or leadership experience preferred)
- Experience managing employee benefits, including 401(k) and health plans
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with HR systems and Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
- Healthcare or home care industry experience
- Multi-state HR experience
- Experience with credential tracking and regulatory compliance
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or higher) preferred
Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
