JOB SUMMARY:
This is a great opportunity to lead an HR Department in one of the fastest growing and most well-respected battery technology organizations in the world! The impact you will have here in our small US team (60 employees currently) as Human Resource Manager will be felt company-wide. You will have a variety of responsibilities in all areas of HR including creating policies and procedures, benefits administration, payroll management, and employee relations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: The following responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Payroll management and HRIS administration in ADP WorkForce Now
- Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures and programs, monitor compliance
- Ensure legal compliance with all state, federal and local reporting requirements
- Coordinate and monitor stock options program
- Develop HR strategies, solutions & strategic workforce plans that align with the global growth of the company
- Manage benefit administration & open enrollment periods to ensure enrollments and changes are processed in a timely manner. Work with broker to obtain quotes ensuring competitive plan costs.
- Monitor & train employees on OSHA compliance in facility, including chemical & electrical labs
- Lead Performance Management & the Bonus Program, mentor and also counsel employees on performance as needed
- Provide conflict-resolution strategies & solutions to management team involving staff issues
- Help to recruit and hire new staff as needed
- Work with legal counsel to process employee work visas, submit H1B applications for annual lottery etc.
- Work closely with Executive leadership such as the CTO and others in USA based location(s)
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Bilingual Mandarin speaker (Communication with HR Headquarters in China is required)
- BA Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
- PHR/SPHR Certification (preferred)
- 5+ years min. experience leading an HR Department
- Payroll Management and HRIS experience with “ADP Workforce Now”
- Excellent attention to details
- Strong decision-making skills
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Ability to coordinate deadline-oriented tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work easily with a diverse variety of personalities within the company

Pay: $135,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year
