💯 Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Officer to join our dynamic team. The HR Officer will be responsible for all recruitment and overseeing and managing human resources functions for our operations in India with an ability to effectively collaborate with teams across multiple time zones. The role will be based in India but will require close coordination and collaboration with teams in Malaysia and Australia.


🔥 Key Responsibilities:

Employee Lifecycle Management:

  • Manage the full employee lifecycle for employees, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training, and offboarding.
  • Ensure the smooth transition of new employees into the company by organizing orientation programs and ensuring they receive necessary tools and resources.

Talent Acquisition:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers in India, Malaysia and Australia to develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates, ensuring compliance with local labor laws.
  • Partner with external recruitment agencies, as necessary, to fulfill staffing needs.

Compliance and Policy Management:

  • Ensure HR policies and practices comply with labor laws and regulations in India.
  • Stay updated on changes to labor laws and HR regulations and advise senior leadership on necessary adjustments to policies or practices.
  • Knowledge of statutory requirements such as tax filings, social security, and benefits compliance.

Employee Relations:

  • Provide support for employee relations issues, such as performance management, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling.
  • Work closely with local leadership to ensure a positive work environment, high employee morale, and engagement.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Manage and oversee payroll processing for employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with tax regulations in both countries and India.
  • Evaluate and recommend changes to compensation and benefits structures in accordance with market trends.

Training & Development:

  • Identify training needs, and design or coordinate relevant training programs.
  • Promote continuous learning and professional development opportunities for employees.

HR Reporting & Analytics:

  • Maintain HR databases and ensure accurate reporting on key metrics (e.g., turnover rates, hiring data, training progress).
  • Provide regular reports and insights to leadership on HR activities, employee engagement, and operational performance.

Cross-Cultural Collaboration:

  • Foster an inclusive and diverse work culture that respects the unique cultural and organizational values of Malaysia, Australia, and India.


💡 Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certifications (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) would be a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of HR and recruitement experience, with some experience working in an international environment.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR practices
  • Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HR software and tools (e.g., HRIS, payroll systems).
  • Understanding of cross-cultural dynamics and the ability to work with diverse teams.
  • Strong performance management and team management skills.
