ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Answers to inquiries for the HR department.
  • Performs HRIS data entry and personnel file maintenance.
  • Process bi-weekly payroll
  • Assists employees and supervisors with basic interpretation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Maintains confidential personnel files and personnel actions.
  • Prepare letters and employment documentation
  • Assist with onboarding and orientation processes
  • Responds to reference checks and verifications of employment status.
  • Assists with various HR projects.
  • Assists with benefits administration.
  • Process attendance records and other documents (e.g. W-2 and tax forms)
  • Check payroll information for accuracy and ensure all relevant paperwork is in order
  • Process all personnel with HR about changes in payroll (e.g. terminations, new hires)
  • Oversee electronic payments and distribution of payroll checks
  • Update data with salary or wage adjustments
  • Support audits and reporting requirements
  • Process other financial compensation or deductions (e.g. annual bonuses, severance pay, taxes, worker’s compensation)
  • Administer benefit expenses, like insurance fees or paid leave
  • Prepare reports to upper management upon request
PRINCIPAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED

Education:
  • High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent
Work Experience:
  • Paycor experience preferred
  • 6 Month Experience or entry level HR background or understanding preferred
  • Understanding of all Microsoft programs word, excel, power point, outlook etc.
  • Expertise with multi state payroll process
  • Proficiency in timekeeping systems
