Duties:
- Assists in the day-to-day functions of the HR/AP/Payroll Department
- Conduct pre-employment and background screening
- Assists with ensuring new hire paperwork is completed, including I-9 verification & Everify
- Maintain confidentiality of all personnel information and records, both current and archived.
- Maintain and update human resource records, forms, and policies per federal and state regulations
- Assist in ensuring all licenses, certificates and other credentials are kept up to date
- Creates and maintains all employee files and assures all files are complete per state requirements
- Assists with bi-monthly payroll process
- Verifying and reconciling invoices
- Perform other HR/AP/Payroll duties as may be needed or assigned.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of HR and Payroll experience preferred
- Previous AP experience preferred
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Previous experience with HRIS and/or Payroll processing systems, previous Workday experience a plus
- Proven ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
- Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task in fast paced environments
- Excellent communication and customer service-oriented attitude
- Ability to work well independently AND collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team
