Human Resources Payroll Coordinator

Summary:

Seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Entry-Level Payroll Processor for our Professional Employer Organization (PEO). This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, comfortable working independently, and eager to build a career in payroll and HRIS systems. The Payroll Processor will assist with processing multiple client payrolls each week and support the ongoing maintenance and accuracy of our HRIS system, currently Paycom.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Process payrolls for multiple client companies on a weekly and bi-weekly basis in a PEO environment

· Assist with payroll data entry, audits, and verification to ensure accuracy and compliance

· Support the maintenance and administration of the Paycom HRIS system, including employee updates and data integrity

· Research and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely and professional manner

· Communicate with internal teams to gather required payroll and employee information

· Maintain strict confidentiality of employee and client payroll information

· Assist with payroll reports, reconciliations, and Excel-based data analysis

· Ensure payroll deadlines are met consistently in a fast-paced environment

Minimum Requirements:

· Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

· Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities

· High level of Excel proficiency (including formulas, spreadsheets, and data review)

· Excellent time management and organizational skills

· Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

· Ability to adapt and learn new systems and processes

· Exposure to payroll processing or HR functions (academic, internship, or professional experience preferred but not required)

· Experience or familiarity with Paycom or other HRIS/payroll systems is a plus

· Experience working in a multi-client or high-volume environment is beneficial

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
