Who We Are:

Emergency Support Services, LLC is a small, family-owned business headquartered in Phoenix, with multiple locations in Arizona, Idaho & California. As a company, we provide support services to government entities, primarily focusing on wildland forest fire suppression efforts. We utilize a large variety of equipment, and the timely delivery and reliability of this equipment is imperative to aiding these natural disasters. What is the job?

This position requires verifiable experience. Please only apply if you have experience primarily in recruiting with additional knowledge of accounting, bookkeeping, office administration, and project management. This position requires the ability to manage multiple moving parts and the ability to work well under pressure. This will require interface between field and office staff to manage.

What are the details?

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment efforts across various departments
  • Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies utilizing social media management, Indeed and GTD
  • Conduct comprehensive interviews, leveraging strong communication skills to assess candidate fit and potential.
  • Coordinate with external agencies or lead generation channels for talent pipelining
  • Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities within our platforms
  • Support onboarding processes, including employee orientation and training & development programs to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
  • Foster strong relationships with candidates through cold calling, relationship management, and ongoing communication to enhance employer branding.
  • Other duties may be required including but not limited to; Dispatching for Wildland Fires, Invoicing, and other HR functions.
  • Organize resources, information and timelines
  • Create Shift Tickets for the equipment to be delivered to and picked up from an incident

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in HR sourcing, recruiting (including executive recruiting), and talent management with a track record of successful placements.
  • Strong understanding of employment & labor law to ensure compliance throughout the hiring process.
  • Excellent communication skills and relationship management abilities to engage candidates effectively.
  • Knowledge of social media management for talent acquisition purposes across platforms like LinkedIn or Twitter.
  • Experience with employee orientation
  • Ability to understand Invoicing generation for Gov't
