Human Resources - Recruitment and Onboarding Manager

Salary Range is 75,000 - 85,000 annually

Job Summary

The Recruitment and Onboarding Manager is responsible for overseeing QSAC’s Recruiting and Onboarding teams. This position partners with hiring managers at all levels and coordinates staffing efforts for the agency. You will oversee and manage the Applicant Tracking System and all open job vacancies and orientation matrix. In addition to, initiating and coordinating agency retention initiatives to reduce staff turnover.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that quality screening, procedures and guidelines are established and followed
  • Managing Recruitment and Orientation teams in NYC and Long Island.
  • Supervise, train, and evaluate the performance of the Recruitment and Onboarding teams.
  • Conduct frequent outreach with Executives, Department Directors, and Hiring Managers to identify hiring needs, improve candidate quality, profile accuracy, retention, and hiring procedures.
  • Encourage and evaluate feedback from Department Directors and Hiring Managers post-interview
  • Track Recruiting metrics associated with all aspects of QSAC hiring
  • Managing the full cycle recruitment process and working with the HR team, hiring
    managers, and internal and external candidates.
  • Travel to various locations in NYC and Long Island for job fairs, training as well as any other required meetings
  • Managing the recruitment and orientation teams for the successful start for the new staff members.
  • Effectively liaise with all Departments regarding Recruiting and Onboarding efforts and outcomes
  • Manage reporting and daily compliance of UKG Applicant Tracking System
  • Communicate QSAC's employment brand to candidates throughout the process, as well as emphasizing the benefits/advantages of working for QSAC
  • Partner with Management to increase QSAC’s digital footprint and employment branding presence on various social media platforms for recruitment visibility
  • Steer head QSAC’s retention initiatives.
  • Oversee the administration of QSAC’s employee scholarship programs.
  • Follow operational standards consistent with defined internal staffing processes, as well as legal requirements and other applicable regulations
  • Participate and contribute to HR department special projects.
  • Assist in the creation, distribution and maintenance of the Job Vacancy bulletin.
  • Collect crucial Recruiting data for use in HR metrics
  • Develop relationships with outside entities to address QSAC’s hiring initiatives, such as networking events, college and university career centers, community centers.
  • Coordinate retention strategies and initiatives to retain staff and reduce employee turnover. Examples may include but are not limited to: Staff satisfaction surveys, new hire check-ins, employee of the month, and other similar staff recognition activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors and/or senior management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related areas is required
  • Experience with ATS such as UltiPro Kronos is required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite, required
  • Strong presence and facilitation skills to deliver training to staff of various levels
  • Ability to manage a variety of projects simultaneously and effectively
  • Ability to remain flexible and adapt to shifting agency needs
  • Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively with colleagues
  • Ability to articulate technical concepts to a non-technical audience
  • Ability to handle multiple and simultaneous tasks and know how to prioritize and communicate changes early and often.
