Human Resources Recruitment Assistant

About the Center: The Comprehensive Behavioral Health Center of St. Clair County is located in East St. Louis, IL. The Center has been in operation since 1957 serving the needs of children, adolescents, and adults.

Position Summary:

The Human Resources Recruitment Assistant supports the hiring process by managing job postings, sourcing candidates, screening applicants, and coordinating interviews. This role also provides administrative support throughout the onboarding process to ensure a smooth and professional candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source candidates through appropriate hiring websites and social media platforms.
  • Post and maintain job advertisements on relevant job boards.
  • Review and screen resumes to identify qualified candidates.
  • Conduct phone screens and initial candidate outreach.
  • Schedule interviews and coordinate with hiring managers.
  • Prepare offer letters and other employment-related correspondence.
  • Create and maintain personnel files for new hires.
  • Assist candidates with the pre-employment screening process.
  • Complete initial new hire set-up in ADP TotalSource.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Reports to: Directly reports to the Human Resources Manager.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in sourcing, recruitment, or clerical/administrative support.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.

Educational Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

Work Schedule & Classification:

  • Hourly, non-exempt position
  • Work schedule Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
