Position Overview

The People Operations Specialist is a key contributor on the People Team, responsible for executing and continuously improving core people processes across the employee lifecycle. This role blends operational excellence, employee experience, and compliance, ensuring that our people systems, programs, and practices are efficient, scalable, and aligned with CSI Group’s values and growth strategy.


This position is ideal for someone who is detail‑oriented, process‑driven, and passionate about creating a positive, employee‑centric workplace.


Key Responsibilities

People Operations & Employee Lifecycle

  • Support all stages of the employee lifecycle including onboarding, changes, and offboarding.
  • Ensure a smooth and consistent onboarding experience for new hires across all CSI Group entities.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and documentation in BambooHR and related systems.
  • Prepare and manage offer letters, promotion letters, job changes, and other employment documents.

HR Systems & Process Management

  • Serve as a day‑to‑day administrator for People systems including BambooHR, Trainual, and other People tools.
  • Audit data regularly to ensure accuracy, compliance, and reporting integrity.
  • Partner with the People Team to document, standardize, and improve SOPs and workflows.
  • Assist with reporting, dashboards, and ad‑hoc data requests related to headcount, turnover, and people metrics.

Benefits, Payroll & Compliance Support

  • Process bi-weekly payroll in partnership with Finance and external payroll providers, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
  • Review and validate payroll data including new hires, terminations, compensation changes, bonuses, and deductions.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee payroll questions and issue resolution.
  • Support benefits administration activities including enrollments, changes, and employee questions.
  • Assist with open enrollment preparation, communications, and employee education.
  • Partner with Payroll and Finance to ensure accurate processing of employee data and changes.
  • Support compliance efforts related to employment laws, audits, and internal controls.

Employee Experience & Culture

  • Act as a trusted point of contact for employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and people processes.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and internal communications.
  • Help reinforce CSI Group’s CAPTAG values through consistent People practices and employee interactions.
  • Assist with planning and execution of company events, Town Halls, and People Team initiatives.

Growth & Integration Support

  • Support People‑related aspects of acquisitions and new office integrations.
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Finance, Operations, IT, and Marketing to ensure aligned execution.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts as CSI Group scales.


Qualifications

  • 2 plus years of experience in HR, People Operations, or a related role.
  • Bachelor’s degree required (Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred).
  • Prior experience processing payroll and benefits required.
  • Working knowledge of HR systems (BambooHR experience strongly preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
