Human Resources Specialist (Remote)

PulseMediaNL is seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused Human Resources Specialist (Remote) to join our remote team. This role is essential in supporting HR operations, recruitment activities, employee relations, and organizational processes while helping maintain a positive and productive remote work environment.

Responsibilities

HR Operations & Administration

  • Manage and support daily human resources operations and administrative tasks remotely
  • Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation, and internal databases
  • Assist with onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle processes
  • Support scheduling and coordination of interviews, meetings, and HR activities

Recruitment & Talent Support

  • Assist with job postings, candidate sourcing, and applicant communication
  • Coordinate interview scheduling and recruitment tracking processes
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to support staffing and recruitment needs
  • Help ensure a positive candidate and employee experience throughout HR processes

Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding company policies, procedures, and HR matters
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with company policies and operational guidelines
  • Support updates to HR documentation, handbooks, and internal procedures

Systems & Process Improvement

  • Use HR systems, communication tools, and administrative platforms effectively
  • Track HR activities, employee records, and recruitment metrics accurately
  • Assist in improving HR workflows and operational efficiency
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and organizational support activities

Requirements

About the Ideal Candidate

  • 1–3 years of experience in human resources, recruitment, or a related role
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Professional, dependable, and people-oriented attitude
  • Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment
  • Familiarity with HR systems, applicant tracking systems, or recruitment platforms is a plus
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar tools
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in human resources, business, or a related field is a plus
