The Human Resources Technician will perform a variety of tasks in support of the Agency’s Human Resources department. Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, recruiting operations and analysis, employee relations and training, and administrative and operational support. This position will provide customer service to prospective and present employees.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Human resources certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license, a good driving record, and the ability to provide your own transportation.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • May be exposed to allergenic environments from client’s homes, including dust, smoke, pet contamination, cleaning supplies, etc
  • May be exposed to clients with infectious diseases.
  • Must be able to walk distances, climb and descend stairs, maneuver in and out of agency vehicles
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 25 pounds at times

SALARY: Starting at $40,892

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (e.g., business administration, human resources, etc.); significant experience, exceeding five years, may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Human resources certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent) required within one year of hire.
  • A mix of education and experience that shows the necessary skills and knowledge for a role in Human Resources at a medium-to-large behavioral health organization.
  • An eagerness to invest in one’s community through service.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

For this position, the most competitive candidates will possess:
  • Master’s degree.
  • Human resources certification (SHRM-SCP or SPHR).
  • Five years of experience in human resources.
  • Three years of experience working at a community services board or behavioral health agency.
