'We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources/Business Office Manager to join our team at Baptist Homes of Adrian. This role is vital in managing administrative functions, overseeing human resources, and ensuring smooth office operations to support our mission of compassionate, Christlike care for seniors.'.
'Responsibilities'
' Oversee daily office operations and administrative functions.
- Manage human resources activities including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
- Handle payroll processing and maintain accurate financial records.
- Coordinate vendor relationships and manage office supplies.
- Organize events and training sessions for staff development.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and healthcare regulations.
- Maintain effective communication across departments.
- Support budgeting and bookkeeping tasks to ensure financial health.'.
- Make deposits and mail statements
- Manage Resident Trust accounts and provide cash payments to residents as needed
- Prepare Invoices for payment and track as necessary
- Conduct Background checks on new hires
- Answers general benefit and payroll questions
- Maintain personnel files and keep up to date
- Assist with benefit paperwork as needed
- Communicate changes within the Company to line staff and department heads
- Duties as assigned/requested. Assist with other departments as needed

- Proven experience in office management, human resources, or healthcare administration.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and schedule management tools.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Experience in event planning or staff training is a plus.
