HVAC (5 years experience)

Colorado Golf Club is seeking a Certified HVAC Technician to start immediately who will be a strong, detail- oriented individual possessing the passion for their craft. This exciting opportunity calls for an individual that is sincerely enthusiastic to continue the trajectory of their career.

POSITION SUMMARY: The HVAC technician will assist with the overall maintenance of the club’s buildings, common grounds, cottages, pool complex and other amenities. He/she will be an active participant in the day-to-day operations of department activities including repairs and general maintenance needed for equipment, furniture, masonry, building structures and utilities to maintain the club property in optimal condition and appearance. The HVAC technician will work closely with and report to the Facilities Manager.

Job Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations:

  • Mechanically inclined with an all-around awareness of mechanical systems, plumbing, electrical and refrigeration. Hands-on capabilities for repairs with evidence of such capabilities.
  • Knowledge of commercial RTU's, package distribution, boilers, makeup air units, exhaust systems and 2-phase equipment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multi-discipline projects.
  • Appropriate analytical skills, attention to detail and organization.
  • Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions.

Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards:

  • Repairs & maintain commercial kitchen equipment.
  • Repair & maintain RTU's
  • Repair and maintain ice machines
  • Repair and maintain residential air conditioners
  • Can effectively participate with all major and minor repairs and improvements.
  • Comfortable working with fire, music, cable and TV systems for all facilities.
  • Comfortable servicing and repairing of systems for lighting, heating, ventilating, fire, drainage, plumbing, electrical, painting and related maintenance activities.
  • Ensures that all building maintenance and repair activities are completed in a timely fashion as determined by the Facilities Manager.
  • Position includes working weekends, and holidays as dictated by business.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager and/or Clubhouse Manager.

CANDIDATE PREFERED EDUCATIONAL AND CERTIFICATION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in HVAC technician position.
  • Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems.
  • Pool and aquatics facility understanding and protocol (Local and State license desired).
  • All candidates must be legal to work in the United States.
  • Must hold a HVAC/R Universal EPA Certification and EPA section 608 certification
  • Documented 5 years of commercial HVAC service repair is required

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The HVAC position is a full-time/year-round position. Compensation Range $35 - $40 per/hour.
