HVAC and Fireplace Outside Sales Representative ( DC, MD, VA )

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and generate new business opportunities through strategic cold calling, networking, and lead generation efforts within assigned territories.
  • Manage existing accounts by providing exceptional customer service, understanding client needs, and upselling appropriate HVAC and fireplace solutions.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and technical sales presentations to educate clients on features, benefits, and installation options.
  • Develop and execute territory management plans to maximize sales growth and market penetration.
  • Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track leads, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data for continuous improvement.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to close sales effectively while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to implement targeted campaigns that increase brand awareness and generate new leads.
  • Provide ongoing support through inside sales efforts, including follow-up calls, customer inquiries, and troubleshooting assistance.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in outside sales or B2B sales within the HVAC, fireplace, or related technology sectors.
  • Strong management skills with the ability to handle territory management and account growth strategies.
  • Demonstrated success in business development, lead generation, and direct sales activities.
  • Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms for tracking sales activities.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer service skills essential for building lasting client relationships.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and adapt strategies accordingly to meet sales targets.
  • Experience in retail or inside sales is a plus but not required; a proactive approach to cold calling is essential. Pay: $85,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
