HVAC Apprentice

Looking to Trade UP ? Baldwin Cooling, Heating, Plumbing and Electrical is seeking a motivated and reliable HVAC Apprentice to join our team. This entry-level position offers hands-on training in HVAC systems while supporting skilled technicians with various tasks. In addition to learning the HVAC trade, the apprentice will assist with inventory management, serve as a parts runner, and be introduced to other construction trades as needed. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a solid foundation in the mechanical and construction fields.

Responsibilities

• Assist HVAC technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
• Transport parts, tools, and equipment between job sites and supply houses as needed.
• Help manage and organize company inventory, tools, and materials.
• Perform general shop and jobsite cleanup and preparation.
• Participate in training and hands-on experience across other trades such as plumbing, electrical, and hvac.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines on job sites.
• Maintain a professional and respectful attitude with clients and coworkers.
• Complete assigned tasks with a willingness to learn and grow in the trade.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions.
• Good communication and time-management skills.
• Prior experience or education in construction or mechanical trades is a plus, but not required.
