HVAC Apprentice

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial HVAC equipment including rooftop units, split systems, boilers, and associated controls
• Support preventative maintenance and system inspections
• Help document service work, findings, and recommendations accurately
• Communicate professionally with team members and assist with customer interactions as needed
• Assist with installation, retrofit, and small project work under supervision
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in a clean and organized manner
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Participate in on-the-job training and actively develop HVAC knowledge and skills

Qualifications

• Interest in pursuing a career in HVAC (technical school or prior experience a plus)
• EPA Certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to read or learn to read technical documents and wiring diagrams
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work both independently (with guidance) and as part of a team

Work Environment

• Full-time position
• Local travel within Indiana
• Overtime may be required based on service needs
