We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice to join our team. This role is designed for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the field of refrigeration and mechanical systems. The Apprentice will work closely with experienced technicians to learn the fundamentals of service, maintenance, and repair of ammonia refrigeration systems. Duties

• Assist service technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning & heating systems.
• Learn to build HVAC systems as required for various projects.
• Participate in field service operations, gaining practical experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Support the design and implementation of refrigeration systems under the guidance of senior staff.
• Operate vehicles to transport tools and equipment to job sites as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are always followed.
• Develop mechanical knowledge through hands-on training and mentorship.

Qualifications

• A strong interest in learning the components of an HVAC system
• Must be in or have had an HVAC apprentaship schooling
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with colleagues.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Must be able to lift heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.03 - $25.55 per hour
