HVAC Assistant (Student)

POSITION SUMMARY: Helper in Heating and Air Conditioning Department
*Bob Jones University students only*

Hiring for fall 2025

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Change HVAC filters
• Replace non-operating air conditioners
• Preventative maintenance on motors and blowers
• Climb extension ladders, enter tunnels, go into crawl spaces, go up on roofs
• Must (occasionally) lift/carry and/or push/pull up to 75 lbs.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Must be enrolled as a student at Bob Jones University, Academy, or AHE
• Mechanical minded
• Working with hand & electric tools
• Available to work up to 40 hours during the summer
