HVAC AutoCAD Draughtsman

Universal BIM & CAD Technical Solutions LLC is urgently seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC AutoCAD Draftsman to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong UAE experience in HVAC drafting, excellent AutoCAD skills, and a good understanding of MEP coordination and local standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed HVAC shop drawings using AutoCAD in accordance with project specifications
• Draft layouts for ducting systems, chilled water piping, ventilation, and air distribution systems
• Develop sections, elevations, and isometric drawings for HVAC installations
• Coordinate with HVAC Engineers, MEP teams, and site staff to ensure accurate and clash-free designs
• Revise drawings based on consultant comments, site conditions, and project changes
• Ensure compliance with UAE authority standards (e.g., DEWA, DM, ASHRAE guidelines where applicable)
• Prepare as-built drawings and maintain proper documentation of all revisions
• Assist in quantity take-offs and material coordination when required
• Participate in clash detection and coordination drawings with other services (plumbing, electrical, fire fighting)
• Maintain drawing standards, layering, and file management as per company and project requirements
• Support the project team with timely submissions, approvals, and technical documentation

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of UAE experience in HVAC drafting within MEP or construction companies
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting); knowledge of Revit/BIM is an added advantage
• Good understanding of HVAC systems, including ducting, piping, insulation, and equipment layouts
• Familiarity with UAE codes and standards (DEWA, Dubai Municipality, ASHRAE, SMACNA)
• Ability to read and interpret HVAC layouts, schematics, and coordination drawings
• Experience in clash coordination and multidisciplinary projects is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Currently based in the UAE and available for immediate joining
