Air Quality Services is currently looking for a HVAC Cleaning Technician in our Twin Falls, ID location. The Primary Responsibilities of this Role are:
- Proficiency in commercial and residential HVAC systems.
- Capability to independently organize and plan tasks.
- Aptitude for sales and effective communication with homeowners.
- Operate the Company vehicle safely while traveling to and from your designated location and all specified work sites, adhering to all driver safety guidelines, techniques, and procedures.
- Complete all regular and as necessary Company vehicle maintenance as needed following current standards of operating procedure.
- Keep an accurate account of all tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Place orders for tools, supplies, equipment and safety gear as needed following current standards of operating procedure.
- Act as the first point of contact for all customers for the entirety of the visit from initial dispatch contact to the final visit inspection following current standards of operating procedure.
- Perform all Home Health and Safety Reports as required following current standards of operating procedure.
- Communicate your findings during the Home Health and Safety Report Inspection to the customer and provide any estimates that are generated as a result of the inspection.
- Use the Home Health and Safety Report to effectively communicate to the customer their home’s needs.
- Enhance sales opportunities, secure contracts, and execute tasks.
- Take initiative, be self-driven, and have strong time management skills.
- Present estimates to the customer so that they see the value in the service that we are offering but avoid any exaggeration of the condition of their home for the purpose of making a sale.
- Act with integrity and class throughout your interaction with our customers.
- Align work behavior with company mission and values.
- Maintain a professional, well-groomed appearance and positive demeanor.
- Engage with customers, providing them with insights and advice on maintaining their systems post-service.
- Organize jobs; gather parts, diagrams, etc.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. May be required to operate in close quarters, crawl spaces, small rooms, and narrow aisles and passageways.
Physical Requirements:
- Move and transport up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to understand verbal and written instructions.
- Climb, crawl, stand, stoop, kneel, move/traverse, bend and reach with hands and arms for extended periods of time.
- Operate hand and electric tools.
Other Requirements:
You will be successful in this role if your background and capabilities include:
- Proven experience as a HVAC cleaning technician preferred
- Have your own tools
- Ability to reliably get to and from work
- Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects on a regular basis
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Valid Driver License required
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
