HVAC Comfort Advisor

Job Overview
As an HVAC Comfort Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing customer satisfaction by providing tailored heating, ventilation, air conditioning and plumbing solutions. Your expertise in outside sales and technical sales will empower you to connect with clients, understand their unique needs, and deliver exceptional service. You’ll be the driving force behind business development efforts, leveraging your skills to generate leads and foster long-term relationships with customers. This is a commission-based position, receiving a percentage of sales.

What you’ll do

  • Create and present heating, air conditioning & plumbing recommendations to improve home comfort
  • Confidently present financing options to homeowners
  • Actively follow up on all sales leads and customer requests
  • Provide exceptional customer service that builds trust and long-term relationships
  • Live and model Bruce’s core values: Integrity, Respect, Compassion, Punctuality, Teamwork, Enthusiasm, Accountability
  • Learn and apply Bruce’s proven sales process and tools (price cards, sales flipbook, accessory book)
  • Maintain and exceed personal sales goals
  • Represent the company with professionalism, positivity, and empathy
  • Attend home and trade shows
  • Participate in appropriate vendor training on various products and services
  • Provide sales reports to the General Manager
  • Engage with potential clients through cold calling and direct sales strategies to identify their HVAC & Plumbing needs.
  • Conduct product demonstrations to showcase the benefits of our HVAC/Plumbing systems and services.
  • Manage accounts effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty through outstanding service.
  • Utilize CRM software to track leads, manage territory sales, and analyze customer data for strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional strategies that resonate with target audiences.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to close sales while maximizing profitability.
  • Upsell additional services and products that align with customer requirements.
  • Provide ongoing support and customer service to ensure a seamless experience from initial contact through installation.

Experience
Basic qualifications

  • Proven experience in outside sales or B2B sales within the HVAC/Plumbing or related industry.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful deal closures.
  • Familiarity with CRM software for managing customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey technical information.

Preferred qualifications

  • In-home sales experience (any industry) strongly preferred
  • Proven record of exceeding sales goals
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
  • Experience in lead generation and account management within a competitive market.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and customer feedback for continuous improvement.
  • A passion for technology sales and staying updated on industry advancements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
