HVAC Commercial Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled HVAC Commercial Technician to join our team and deliver exceptional service in commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical systems. As a vital member of our service team, you will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration units, and ventilation equipment.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, technical manuals, and HVAC design documents to accurately diagnose system issues.
• Perform plumbing work related to HVAC systems such as condensate drain lines and refrigerant piping.
• Conduct field service visits to client sites to perform routine maintenance, emergency repairs, and system upgrades.
• Use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and other electrical testing devices to identify faults in electrical components.
• Repair or replace mechanical components including motors, compressors, fans, valves, and welders as needed.
• Maintain detailed service records, complete reports on work performed, parts used, and system conditions for client documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations during all service activities.
• Assist with HVAC/R system design considerations for new installations or upgrades when required.
• Operate company vehicles responsibly while adhering to all driving safety policies.

Experience

• Proven experience as an HVAC service technician working on commercial systems with a strong understanding of HVAC/R principles.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems such as boilers, pumps, and piping
• Familiarity with schematics, technical drawings, and HVAC design plans for accurate troubleshooting.
• Prior field service experience in property maintenance or building management environments preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record;
• Certifications related to HVAC/R (such as EPA refrigerant handling certification) are highly valued. Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
