HVAC Contract Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive HVAC Contracts Manager to oversee and coordinate heating, ventilation, and air conditioning projects within our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing teams, ensuring project deadlines are met, while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair projects from inception to completion.
• Manage project timelines using tools such as Microsoft Project, ensuring all phases adhere to scheduled deadlines.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams through effective negotiation and communication skills to meet project specifications.
• Oversee procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and budget compliance.
• Utilise organisational skills to allocate resources efficiently across multiple projects.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to technicians and junior staff, fostering a productive work environment.
• Prepare detailed reports on project progress, issues, and resolutions using Microsoft Office suite applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to project specifications, schedules, and safety procedures.
• Drive company vehicles as required for site visits or client meetings.

Experience

• Proven management experience within the HVAC or construction industry.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and suppliers.
• Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project is highly desirable.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently across multiple projects.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience supervising teams in a construction or technical environment.
• Solid understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and technical standards related to HVAC systems.
• Effective communication skills both written and verbal for liaising with diverse stakeholders.
• Competency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, as well as basic IT skills.
• Valid driving licence is essential for site visits and client meetings.
