Position Overview

JM Mechanical is hiring an HVAC Controls Apprentice to assist with the installation and startup of low-voltage control systems on commercial projects.

This is a great opportunity for individuals with low-voltage wiring experience who want to build a career in HVAC controls and building automation .

Key Responsibilities

• Install conduit, raceways, and low-voltage cabling
• Mount and wire control devices (sensors, relays, etc.)
• Assist with system startup, testing, and verification
• Follow project plans, schedules, and safety standards
• Complete daily reports and documentation
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience with low-voltage wiring in construction is required
• Ability to work independently and on a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and grow
