HVAC Delivery Driver (CDL Class C w/Hazmat)

Job Summary

As a Driver, you will represent a trusted HVAC and Refrigeration industry wholesaler by providing precision and excellent customer service in your daily deliveries to our customers. This role involves operating a 26-foot box truck to deliver orders and perform vendor pickups. You will also ensure truck cleanliness and maintenance, verify transfer accuracy, and assist with occasional warehouse tasks.

Responsibilities

Driving & Delivery

• Operate a 26ft box truck and efficiently
• Deliver orders to branch and customer locations
• Perform vendor pickups and customer deliveries
• Maintain truck cleanliness and schedule maintenance appointments

Accuracy & Documentation

• Check branch transfers for accuracy
• Ensure proper handling of shipping documents and delivery records

Experience & Qualifications

• CDL with Hazmat endorsement required
• Previous driving/delivery experience
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pay close attention to details
• Mechanical aptitude a plus
• Capable of dealing quickly with changing priorities and demands
• Ability to interpret shipping documents, packing slips, invoices, computer-generated ordering, and inventory documents to maintain accurate records
• Ability to work as a team or on your own, when applicable

Education

• High school diploma or GED required

Physical Demands

• Work can involve lifting products weighing up to 50 pounds
• Warehouse locations may not have central air conditioning
• Work may involve standing and/or sitting for extended periods
