HVAC Design Engineer

Overview

HVAC Design Engineer is responsible for designing and developing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems for fitout project (Mainly F&B), ensuring they meet occupant comfort needs, energy efficiency standards, and building codes.

Responsibilities

Perform HVAC load calculations to determine heating and cooling requirements for a space.
Design and select HVAC systems and equipment considering factors like capacity, efficiency, and noise levels.
Develop detailed construction documents, including mechanical drawings, equipment specifications, and control sequences.
Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other project stakeholders to integrate the HVAC system into the overall building design.
Stay up-to-date on the latest HVAC technologies, codes, and standards.
May participate in site visits to assess existing conditions and ensure proper installation of the designed system.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Experience in HVAC system design using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, HAP).
Working knowledge of HVAC principles, equipment, and control systems for retail stores , offices and F&B projects.
Understanding of building codes and standards related to HVAC systems.

Additional Skills (Beneficial)

Knowledge of sustainable design practices for HVAC systems.
Minimum 2 years Experience working on FITOUT projects in Middle east mainly for Retail and F & B projects

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month

Experience:

• UAE: 2 years (Required)
• HVAC design experience in GCC: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• UAE DRIVING LICENSE (Preferred)
