HVAC Dispatcher

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and organized HVAC Dispatcher to coordinate and manage service requests, technician schedules, and logistics for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) service operations. In this vital role, you will serve as the communication hub between customers, technicians, and suppliers, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of HVAC services. Your proactive approach and excellent communication skills will help maintain high customer satisfaction and streamline daily operations. Responsibilities

• Receive incoming service requests via multi-line phone systems and digital platforms, accurately documenting details using data entry skills.
• Schedule and dispatch HVAC technicians efficiently using House Call Pro.
• Coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure availability of parts, equipment, and materials needed for scheduled jobs.
• Communicate clearly with technicians regarding job priorities, customer expectations, and safety protocols through phone etiquette and professional communication skills.
• Maintain detailed records of dispatch activities, freight movements, shipping & receiving logs, and service history for analysis and reporting purposes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in dispatching within HVAC, transportation management, or logistics environments.
• Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret GIS data, GPS tracking information, and transportation management system outputs.
• Familiarity with supply chain processes, freight handling, shipping & receiving procedures, and fleet management systems such as SyteLine or Oracle Transportation Management.
• Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette and the ability to handle multi-line phone systems effectively.
• Proficiency in data entry with a high level of accuracy using tools like AS400 or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
• Knowledge of transportation planning principles, logistics strategies, and analysis techniques to optimize dispatch operations.
• Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
