Job Title: HVAC Duct Technician (GI / PI / MS Sheet)
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled HVAC Duct Technician to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with GI, PI, and MS sheet ductwork and a strong understanding of HVAC installation standards. You’ll play a key role in ensuring high-quality duct systems for commercial and industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
· Install, maintain, and repair HVAC duct systems using GI, PI, and MS sheet materials.
· Take precise measurements and ensure proper alignment, fitting, and sealing of ductwork.
· Read and interpret HVAC drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
· Conduct site inspections to assess duct installations and resolve technical issues.
· Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to meet project deadlines.
· Follow safety procedures and quality control standards at all times.
· Perform routine duct maintenance, cleaning, and performance checks.
· Ensure all work complies with UAE building codes and industry regulations.
Requirements:
· Experience: Minimum 2 years of practical experience in HVAC duct installation (GI, PI, MS sheet).
· Technical Skills:
o Strong ability to read HVAC blueprints and ductwork diagrams.
o Proficient in using duct fabrication and installation tools (shears, cutters, seamers, etc.).
o Solid knowledge of duct materials, fabrication methods, and installation techniques.
· Qualifications: Diploma or technical certification in HVAC or Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
· Physical Capability: Able to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in challenging site conditions.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Familiarity with UAE HVAC codes, standards, and safety regulations.
· Experience on large-scale commercial or industrial HVAC projects.
· Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
