HVAC Electrical Assembler
Location: Flowery Branch, GA Company: FriconUSA – HVAC/R Manufacturing
FriconUSA is seeking a dedicated HVAC Electrical Assembler to join our HVAC/R manufacturing team. The ideal candidate is responsible for wiring and connecting electrical components in refrigeration and HVAC units. This includes integrating pre assembled electrical control panels with motors, fans, sensors, solenoid coils, electromechanical valves, and other electronic devices, ensuring proper operation and compliance with quality and safety standards.
Required Knowledge & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1–3 years of experience in electrical wiring or assembly (HVAC/R experience preferred).
- Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools.
- Ability to read simple wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Basic knowledge of electrical components: motors, sensors, solenoid coils, actuators, etc.
- Ability to measure accurately and follow instructions.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
- Basic math skills.
- Basic computer skills required.
Responsibilities
- Integrate pre-assembled electrical panels into HVAC/R units.
- Connect motors, compressors, fans, sensors, solenoid coils, electromechanical valves, and electronic components according to wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Measure, cut, and route wiring to proper lengths and locations within the unit.
- Ensure all connections are secure, insulated, and correctly terminated.
- Read and follow wiring diagrams, schematics, and component labels.
- Assist with troubleshooting electrical connections during assembly and testing.
- Operate pallet jacks, and overhead cranes to move, assemble, and position materials.
- Unload incoming materials and organize them in storage areas.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations.
- Report defects, inconsistencies, or technical issues to supervisors and support continuous improvement efforts.
- Work collaboratively with engineers, supervisors, and other technicians to complete assemblies on schedule.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Assist coworkers and perform additional duties as needed.
