Overview
Join our dynamic team as an HVAC, Electrical, & Plumbing Technician, where your expertise will drive the maintenance, repair, and installation of essential building systems. Duties
- Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment (including ammonia refrigeration), and HVAC/R systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions.
- Conduct electrical work such as wiring, circuit testing with ohmmeters, and ensuring compliance with electrical codes.
- Service plumbing systems including pipe repairs, fixture replacements, leak detection, and appliance repairs related to property maintenance.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to repair or replace equipment components like motors, pumps, valves, and weld or fabricate parts as needed.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete shift reports, and document all repairs for accountability and future reference.
- Operate field service vehicles safely (including <PERSON> drivers if applicable) to reach job sites promptly and efficiently.
Skills
- Extensive construction experience with a solid understanding of building systems integration.
- Proven service technician experience in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing fields with a focus on property maintenance.
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately for troubleshooting complex systems.
- Knowledge of HVAC design principles and refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration units.
- Mechanical aptitude with experience in appliance repair, boiler operation, welding, and equipment repair.
- Familiarity with field service procedures including troubleshooting HVAC/R units on-site.
- Strong electrical skills including wiring practices and use of testing tools such as ohmmeters.
- Mechanical knowledge related to pumps, motors, valves, and other mechanical components essential for system operation.
