HVAC Engineer (High-rise Buildings) - MEP

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled HVAC Engineer with a minimum of 4-5 years of experience in the GCC region, particularly in high-rise buildings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chilled water systems and possess expertise in HVAC calculations and design. Additionally, candidates must hold UPDA/QCDD approval as an engineer.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and oversee HVAC systems for high-rise buildings, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.

2. Conduct thorough HVAC calculations to determine system requirements, including load calculations, duct sizing, and equipment selection.

3. Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate HVAC systems seamlessly into building designs.

4. Provide technical expertise and support throughout the project lifecycle, from conceptual design to installation and commissioning.

5. Perform site inspections and quality checks to ensure HVAC systems are installed correctly and operating efficiently.

6. Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the design, installation, or operation of HVAC systems and propose effective solutions.

7. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and advancements in HVAC technology to continuously improve design practices.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

2. Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in HVAC design and engineering, with a focus on high-rise buildings.

3. In-depth knowledge of chilled water systems, including design principles and equipment selection.

4. UPDA approval as an engineer is mandatory and QCDD approval is preferred.

5. Proficiency in HVAC calculation software and design tools.

6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

7. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

8. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
